2002 was Absolute's third year on the water. This also marked the first year that the team traveled as it competed in the Alcan Dragonboat Festival in Vancouver. The highlight of 2002 was the exponential growth of the club. For the first time ever, Absolute sent two crews to the 7th Annual Northern California International Dragon Boat Competition. Straight up or on the rocks, Absolute always finishes smooth. This is the year that Absolute became more than just a dragon boat team - they became a lifestyle.
