- California Dragon Boat Association (CDBA)
The CDBA is the largest dragon boat organization in California. It hosts the annual Northern California International Dragon Boat Championships held in San Francisco's Lake Merced. Solely dedicated to increasing the knowledge and appreciation of dragon boat racing, the CDBA provides year round paddler, steerer and coaching instruction.

- Dragon Warriors
Dragon Warriors is a high energy team in the San Francisco Bay Area that likes to balance spirit, competitiveness, and fun both on and off the water. We love traveling to races to meet other paddlers, and here in the Bay Area are known for our fabulous race day buffets! Our paddlers of all ages are united by our team's passion and style for the sport.
- Dieselfish
Who/what is a DieselFish? In simplest terms, we're a dragon boat team based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our club spawned in the summer of 1998 made up of friends of friends.
- Bay Area Dragons
Our racing team is known as the Bay Area Dragons (a.k.a. BAD). We have some of the most experienced dragon boat paddlers in Northern California. Formed in 1995, the Bay Area Dragon Boat Foundation provides coaching, steering, and general support for our members and local teams.
- Ripple Effect
Ripple Effect is a team new to the Bay Area for 2002. It is a team composed of male and female, new and experienced paddlers from around the Bay Area. The team is coached by Bob Leung and Wendy Hanrahan, who between the two of them have nearly two decades of dragon boat experience both as coaches and paddlers.

Francisco, and Vancouver tournaments.
- Kai Ikaika
Kai Ikaika, Hawaiian for ''Strong Water'' is in its 3rd season together. This is our 2nd year at Alcan and hope to have as much fun as we had last year. We will be representing the Pacific Division at the World Club Crew Championships in Rome in September. Aloha.
